The Institute for Immunologic Intervention at the CDI investigates T cell development in the thymus and T cell immune responses in peripheral tissues.
The Institute is dedicated to advancing the understanding of T cell development, immunity to infections, tumor immunity, alloimmunity, and autoimmunity. By fostering collaborations with the CDI, John Theurer Cancer Center, and the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, our institute strives to apply this knowledge towards innovative strategies that enhance the effectiveness of cancer immunotherapy, interventions for autoimmune and alloimmune conditions, and the prevention of infections.
