The National Cancer Institute (NCI), a part of the National Institutes of Health, has awarded its most prestigious designation — “comprehensive cancer center” status — to Georgetown University‘s Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center in recognition of its high-impact research, community outreach and cancer care.
