Research Focus Area: Behavioral and Neurocognitive Health

A team of CDI scientists are assessing what drives the human brain, especially when it comes to disease through inheritance or genetic expression. Their work encompasses functional genetic variant discovery, epigenetic expression change like that of methylation, and pathway analysis in neuropsychiatric disorders, Down syndrome, autoimmune diseases, and other diseases. They are also studying combination therapies with epigenetic drugs in mouse models of cancer.
